Mumbai International Student Film Festival

Mumbai International Student Film Festival (MISFF) is organised by Film Critics Circle of India (FCCI) in association with Cinema Society of India, in Mumbai, India.

Editions[edit]

MISFF 2023[edit]

The inaugural edition was co-organised by, and conducted at, the KES Shroff College of Arts & Commerce.

Two panel discussions were held. The Day 1 session on acting comprised Arfi Lamba, Prashant Naik, Bijaya Jena, Zachary Coffin, and Akriti Singh. The Day 2 session on the personal vision of filmmakers comprised Katharina Suckale, Kaurwakee Vasistha, Sharad Raj, Oorvazi Irani, Johnson Thomas, and Joy Bimal Roy.

Resurrection (Poland) and Summer 43 (Poland) were conferred the Best Short Fiction Film and a Jury Special Mention by jury members Daniela Rogobete, Monita Borgohain, and Vijay Sharma. Waves (India) was conferred the Best Documentary Film award by jury members Alvaro Turrion, Amartya Acharya, and Ratan Sil Sarma.

MISFF 2024[edit]

The 2024 edition would happen at a variety of schools, colleges, and universities in and around Mumbai.

Magazine[edit]

For youth in the arts, FCCI brings out a magazine, youth AUTEUR (yA).
